Safety Issues

Local Resources

Parents want to keep their child safe.  Individuals of autism face many safety challenges as indicted in our Safety Infograph:

  • bullying
  • abuse
  • eloping
  • emergencies and disasters

The best way is to prepare ahead of time and take precautions while you are teaching safety skills.  See the resources below for more information.
