New Classes /Events Being Offered In The Inland Empire

 
 KIDS WRITING  CENTRAL
KWC offers fun, multisensory learning for children ages 4 to 10 to develop strong handwriting  skills.  Instruction is combined with games and activities that develop skills for handwriting mastery. Addresses letter formation, pencil grip, size and spacing. The one on one allows for individual instruction for increased learning.  Specialize in working with children who have learning disabilities. Social Skills Class for Elementary and Middle School youth with Asperger's Syndrome

The Wylie Center is offering a pilot social skills program for kids in 3rd - 5th and 6th -  8th grade who could use practice and practical assistance in negotiating the complexities of peer relationships.  Using materials from Tony Attwood and Jed Baker, the 4 week class will focus on conversation skills, anxiety management, and how to understand typical peers' subtle social cues.  Instructor:  Karen Wilgus.

Junior Jungle: for grades 3 - 5, Mondays, Starting July 28 at 2:30 p.m.

Middle School Maze: for grades 6 - 8, Mondays, Starting July 21 at 1:00 p.m.
