5th Annual Hero Walk for Autism

There are over 12,000 individuals with Autism just in the Inland Empire!  Help local families, children and adults with autism receive much-needed support, education, and information.

Your company has the unique opportunity of reaching over 3,000 family members, community members, and volunteers while supporting the local autism community the day of the Walk.  Additionally, ASIE has a social media reach of 7,000 and a website visited by over 70,000 times annually.

   

Corporate Sponsorship:   The Hero Walk for Autism offers a Resource Fair, the perfect event for a company whose audience is children, families, grandparents and residents in the Inland Empire.  Sponsors also receive the benefit of recognition from over 80,000 individuals who visit the ASIE website, our social media reach, as well as 3,000 participants who support organizations that have a like-minded commitment to a cause near and dear to their hearts.

The Hero Walk offers several sponsorship categories ranging from $500 to $10,000.  Please refer to the current sponsorship package for more information on the benefits of becoming a Hero Walk Corporate Sponsor.

In-Kind Sponsor: Our continued success relies on donated products, marketing, and various services before, during, and after the ASIE Hero Walk. Because of your active involvement, ASIE contains expenses so the event is able to maximize net proceeds for local families and honor the trust of its participants and donors.

In-Kind Donation Needs:  Items such as gift certificates, volunteer meals, toys, personal and home electronics. In-Kind Sponsors receive a multitude of benefits including visibility and recognition on the Autism Society Inland Empire Walk page.

Media Sponsorship Services:  ASIE appreciates Television and Radio PSA’s, Print Advertisements, E-mail “blasts”, Online Listings/Web Banner Advertisements, and Outdoor Media (billboards/window displays).

Employee Involvement and Volunteer Opportunities:  This is an opportunity for you and your employees to make a difference in our community! The Hero Walk for Autism is the perfect fundraiser to support as a company by encouraging your employees participation.

In addition to sponsoring the Hero Walk, companies can form a Corporate Walk Team and encourage employees to sign up, even matching what their employees raise. Every year we recognize the three teams that raise the most money.  

We do require all corporate volunteering groups to register in advance for each and every volunteer engagement.  Volunteers who are not pre-registered are not permitted to serve on the day of an event. Volunteer opportunities range from all day, 9am -3pm or for 2-3 hour shifts.

Vendor Opportunities for Resource Fair

This is the Inland Empire’s largest event for resources for the entire autism community empowering families with knowledge as well as highlight of some of the abilities of children and adults with Autism.  The Resource Fair will include:

  • Resource Fair Exhibitors
  • Music, Sportsand Entertainment Demonstrations
  • Fun activities for children and adults with ASD
  • Special Spanish Resource booth
  • The Marketplace – an opportunity for teens and adults with autism to be supported as they sell products or advertise their own small business

This year we are expecting over 3,000 individuals to attend.  All Resource Fair participants will be provided with a six-foot table and two folding chairs. The fair will take place outside and all vendors should each bring a 10×10 pop-up tent as well as a game or activity for attendees.  No electricity available.  Spaces are available on a first come; first serve basis.
