These events provide opportunities for our families and individuals to meet other families, feel less isolated and learn new skills.

Awesome Adults

Are you an adult?  Are you awesome?  This is a social group for independent young adults in the Riverside area. Occasional outings throughout So Cal. This group is facilitated by two education specialists (special education teachers). Drop off program. 

Legos with Friends

Sponsored by DPR Construction. LEGOS® With Friends Club is a new program that gives children with autism ages 5 to 12 years old an opportunity to interact through collaborative play. The new program, sponsored by Autism Society Inland Empire and DPR Construction, use these popular toys to help children with and without special needs to work together as a group, have fun, and build friendships.  Meets every other month.  Check calendar.

Murrieta Teen & Adult

For teens, adults and parents.  Group meets in the Murrieta area twice a month for fun event. Once at the Community Center, once out in the community. Occasional lectures on topics that pertain to adults and adolescents on the spectrum.

Parents are welcome.

Sensory Friendly Films

Movies are offered 4 times a month at both the AMC Ontario Mills 30 and the AMC Tyler Galleria in Riverside.  Sensory Friendly the means the sound will be turned down, families are able to bring in their own gluten-free, casein-free snacks, and no previews or advertisements will be shown.  No need to RSVP. 

Special Events and Holiday Parties

Look for more info on our summer and Holiday special events.  These unstructured times can be stressful for individuals who have autism.  Sign up for our newsletter to get more info on upcoming Special Events.  We usually have holiday events around Summertime, Thanksgiving, Halloween and December.  Parties for teens & adults, and others for the entire family.

Sky High Nights

Sponsored by Molina Healthcare.  This event is fun for all ages! Sky High Sports is full of trampolines – trampoline floors, trampoline walls, giant foam pit, an obstacle course and more. A $5 donation is requested for each jumper. Parents and caregivers are free! A great place to network with other parents.  You must RSVP for this event.
